Health Insurance for Real Estate Agents Doesn't Have to Be Hard

Meeting people who look for ways to help other people makes my soul happy. Collaborating with others to help achieve goals is one of my favorite things in the world and Renee Williams is one of the enlightened people who is helping realtors succeed. She is CEO of the Renee Williams Group, a small family of brands specifically geared toward experienced women real estate agents, brokers, and team leaders age 50+. The group’s mission is , “To secure the future of experienced women real estate professionals by providing a holistic approach to business ownership which includes streamlined operations, personal financial management, and strategic exit planning with passive income.” Renee invited me as a guest on her podcast , Agent Exit Strategy, to talk about how health insurance for real estate agents doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

Renee and her companies are helping so many agents plan for and get the future they dream of. She was a delightful host and I thoroughly enjoyed sharing ideas to help real estate agents minimize the pain and cost of finding the right healthcare plan for themselves and their families.

Self employed people are especially aware of how health care and finances are intertwined. As I described on the podcast, “If we are sick or in the hospital, we can't work or we can work a little. I had surgery and on the day of recovery, I was responding to texts. You're not your full self. You can't count on yourself to produce and work at the same level if you're battling a variety of different health issues. It's important to consider the whole picture. It's interesting that health insurance is also part of financial planning. It has to be because of the way it's structured in this country. It makes such a big impact on our finances.”

We discussed health insurance for real estate agents and the options available. Check out the podcast on Apple or wherever you access podcasts. Renee asked some very good questions and I think that together, we provided some very helpful tips and ideas for how to find the best health insurance for real estate agents.
